Wire rope assemblies – generally referred to as drifts, steels, strops or bonds – are lengths of steel wire rope terminated at both ends with either a soft or hard (thimble) eye.
They are used for hanging people, props, scenery, lighting ladders and speakers, as safety bonds on lamps etc. and much, much more.
Safe working loads shown are at a 5:1 safety factor.
